The two cars were nearly touching underneath the truck. That's how high it was.
As a co-worker wrote in response to the above photo, which was posted to my Facebook profile, "you Melbourne people have a strange sense of humor."
A big-truck enthusiast in my Melbourne apartment complex was the apparent object of a joke played by two other residents on Wednesday afternoon. This truck's front plate, as you can read below, says, "Warning: If you value your life as much as I value this truck, don't mess with it." It was messed with all right, as two cars were parked partially underneath the pickup.
In the end, I don't think any of the three vehicles were damaged. I'm sure the truck could have easily freed itself from the cramped parking spot, though, by running over the hoods of the offending cars.
The front plate invites trouble. This guy was asking for it.
