Americans are: (A) stupid (B) sex-obsessed (C) isolationists (D) all of the above

A
ccording to Time magazine, the answer to the headline is D.

Dan Gillmor's blog brought this to my attention, and I had to share.

On the covers of the three Jan. 28 Time editions for the rest of the world (Europe, Asia and the South Pacific), there's a story about the world economy, specifically in the context of World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The covers' title "Nylonkong" refers to the economy of New York, London and Hong Kong as inextricably linked through globalization.

Heavy stuff? Apparently for Americans.

The U.S. edition is headlined "The Science of Romance" - a considerably lighter, more grab-your-interest kind of topic, right? The issue deals with topics such as "Why we love" and "Why we flirt." Hmm, those are two things that I don't do much. Maybe there's something wrong with me. I think I'll actually read the article now.

Good job, Time. You managed to capture the attention of this stupid, sex-obsessed and isolationistic American.
